National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), launched in 2016, was formed by consolidating several UK cyber security groups, including parts of GCHQ. It serves as the UK’s authority on cyber security, providing advice, guidance and support to individuals, businesses and public sector organisations. The NCSC also collaborates with national and international partners to enhance cyber resilience and protect the UK from cyber threats.
